IN THIS RACE EVERY HOUR COUNTS

Thank you for your interest in raising money for childhood cancer research through the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, we’re glad you’re here. And we’re glad that improving outcomes for kids with cancer is as important to you as it is to us.

There are more than 100 different kinds of pediatric cancer.

Two children every hour are diagnosed with one of them.

This drives doctors and scientists to log countless research hours in the race to beat pediatric cancer.

You can join the fight by dedicating your dollars to their hours of research.

Each year, through the In This Race Every Hour Counts program, we strive to raise $1 million for childhood cancer research; and we need your help.We divided our goal by the number of hours in one year – 8,760 – for a dollar amount per hour to reach $1 million.

IN ONE HOUR, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

$114.16 = 1 HOUR OF RESEARCH
$2,739.73 = 1 DAY OF RESEARCH
$19,230.77 = 1 WEEK OF RESEARCH
$1 MILLION = 1 YEAR OF RESEARCH

8,760 HOURS IN 1 YEAR = $1 MILLION

You can use your passion, interests, and hobbies to raise money and help fund hours – maybe up to a day or even a week – of research.  And you will receive a personalized certificate for each individual hour that you raise. For more information, and help customizing ideas to fund research hours, email Brian Myers, Development Manager.

“As a race car driver, I know what it means to be up against the clock and how every minute of every hour counts.  Beating pediatric cancer can feel like an overwhelming goal at times, but every study, every clinical trial, and every new discovery as a result of research gets us closer.Every hour counts.” - Jeff Gordon
